HOME INSPECTOR

Experience/knowledge of the Home Inspection industry is a plus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with excellent work and interpersonal skills, computer skills, knowledge of construction, and a desire to deliver excellence every day. If you're a hands-on type of person with a love for buildings and related systems, your career as a professional home inspector assistant will be very rewarding if you are serious.

Qualified candidate for this position MUST:

-Be able to work at least 5 days/week

-Have great computer skills

-Possess excellent people skills     

-Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record   

-Be a Non-Smoker

-Have reliable transportation

 

The ideal candidate will also possess some or all the following:

-Home inspection experience       

-Speak fluent English

-Closely related experience/education     

-Certification by INTERNACHI

-Understanding of the home buying process / real estate   

-Knowledge of construction defects

-Punctuality is essential           

-Ability to work unsupervised and part of a Team

 

The job is physically demanding and requires a lot of physical activity including:

-Carrying and the use of ladders                                         

-Walking on roofs (heights)

-Wearing a tool belt                     

-Entering confined spaces such as attics and crawling under houses

-Long periods of standing, driving and typing                                   

-Lifting items above your head including attic access covers

-Candidate must be able to lift 50+/- pounds.             

-Entering homes with allergens including pets, dust, mold, etc.

Ultimately, the Home Inspector trainee will develop to the point that they perform the entire inspection, and the lead inspector is the observer. Attitude is more important than specific experience. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail are a MUST. You must be punctual and able to follow directions. Customer service and etiquette is a huge benefit.

GROWTH COORDINATOR

We need your people skills to help us grow by using your talent of charismatic bubbliness and outgoing friendliness to talk to Real Estate Agents about our company.  We are looking for someone who loves being around people & building relationships. You will be giving presentations to agents and getting paid to take people out for coffee.

 

If you are an overachiever and can prove it, then you are just the type we are looking for! Come use your confidence and ambition to help create relationships and drive business to our team.

 

Job Duties:

  • Set up and meet with Real Estate Agents to discuss our company.

  • Maintain calendar of activities.

  • Promote company within the Real Estate community through one-on-one meetings, networking, office visits and sponsored/co-sponsored events.

  • Establish a presence with realtor associations by attending affiliate meetings, serving on committees and attending events and open houses.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as Realtors, friends and other affiliates/vendors related to the real estate industry.

  • Make daily agent acquisition and retention calls.

 

Key Skills:

  • Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.

  • Must feel comfortable talking to and engaging the public.

  • Self-motivated, results driven, calm under pressure, ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening skills. Detail oriented.

  • Rapport building' Time management

  • Service based attitude; Prospecting

  • Technology savvy – Zoom; Microsoft office products; Google docs, etc.

  • Social Media savvy - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tik Tok

  • Valid drivers license & excellent driving record.

  • Knowledge or experience in the Real Estate industry a plus
